Refund Policy

Payment Processing

Subscription payments for Balancio are processed securely through Paystack, our authorised payment processor. We accept payments via debit/credit card and Mobile Money (Momo). By completing a purchase, you agree to this refund policy in full.

14-Day Refund Window

You are entitled to request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal, provided you have not made extensive use of the premium features during that period. No reason is required for refund requests made within this window.

To request a refund, use the in-app refund form under Settings → Help & Refund, or email us directly at balanciosupport@gmail.com with your registered email address and the approximate date of purchase.

After 14 Days

After the 14-day refund period has passed, refunds may be considered only in exceptional circumstances, including:

  • Duplicate or erroneous charges
  • Incorrect billing amounts
  • Technical issues that prevented access to the subscribed service

Requests outside the standard window must be submitted with supporting evidence (e.g., your transaction reference or confirmation message) and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain full access to your plan until that date, after which your account will have no active subscription and access to features will end. Cancellation alone does not constitute a refund request.

How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are initiated directly through Paystack and returned to the original payment method used at checkout — whether card or Mobile Money. No manual developer intervention is required for approved refunds; Paystack handles the disbursement automatically. Processing typically takes 3–10 business days depending on your bank or mobile money provider.

Changes to Payment Methods

Balancio may update its supported payment methods or switch payment processors in the future (for example, disabling card payments or introducing new providers). Any such changes will be announced in-app and reflected in an updated version of this policy. The refund procedure applicable to your purchase will be determined by the payment method and processor active at the time of that transaction.
