Our Commitment

Balancio is built for teens, middle/high schoolers, and university students. We take the privacy of young users seriously and are committed to handling your data responsibly and transparently.

Data Storage

Your transactions, balances, and preferences are stored securely in the cloud using Firebase, provided by Google. This allows your data to be synced across your devices and kept safe even if you change phones. We do not sell, rent, or share your financial data with any third party.

What We Collect

To provide the service, we collect:

• Your email address (for account creation and login)
• Transaction data you enter into the app
• Device push notification token (Premium users only, for alerts)

We do not collect your real name, phone number, or payment details. Payment information is handled entirely by Paystack and never seen or stored by Balancio.

Analytics & Tracking

We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics, or sell data to advertisers. We may collect basic crash and error logs to improve the app's stability.

Payment Processing

Subscription payments are processed securely by Paddle, our authorised Merchant of Record. Please refer to Paddle's privacy policy for details on how they handle your payment information.

Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing balanciosupport@gmail.com . We will process your request within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here and users will be notified via the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
